Penneshaw – Ferry terminal, tourism centre, great pub, supermarket, walking trails, Frenchman’s Rock, penguin tours

Kingscote – The island's biggest town. Pelican feeding, penguin tours, marine centre

American River - The Oyster Farm Shop, Fishing Wharf, Fishing Charters

Island Beach - Safe, protected swimming, fishing and relaxing beach near American River

Pennington Bay - Wild and spectacular cliff-lined fishing and surf beach, South Coast.

Prospect Hill - Near pennington bay - panoramic views over both south and north coasts of the island

Seal Bay - Take a guided tour to get right up close to this huge colony of Australian Sea Lions

Little Sahara - Amazing inland sand dune area. Sandboards can be hired from Vivonne bay to slide down the huge dunes

Vivonne Bay - Pristine white sandy beach and untouched coastal bushland area. Swimming beach but does get surf and currents.

Hanson Bay - Protected swimming and snorkelling area flanked by limestone cliffs and wild, open-ocean beaches

Clifford’s Honey Farm

Flinders Chase National Park - Picnic Areas, kangaroos and wildlife galore and a true wilderness area taking up almost 1/4 of the island.

Kelly Hill Caves - Guided tours through the extensive underground cave system.

Stokes Bay - Beautiful North Coast beach, entrance via a cave. Safe for swimming and kids.
